WCTC physical therapy reopens in clinic building

Wauneta Care and Therapy Center’s outpatient physical therapy department is back in business, but not at the usual place.
The department reopened Tuesday in the east side of the Chase County Clinic building in Wauneta, WCTC Administrator Lisa Kisinger said.
It will be open at 8:15 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Kisinger said it’s uncertain how late it will stay open; that depends on when people can show up for appointments.
WCTC had stopped offering outpatient physical and occupational therapy in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But “we had some people who were coming to us for outpatient therapy tell the therapist they wouldn’t go anywhere else,” Kisinger said. “We felt we needed to do something to get those people the help they need.”
