This will be my congratulations for the nursing that I live in. I can’t say “Sunrise” as its something else, now. It’s “Wauneta Care and Therapy Center,” like some other things that you find hard to get use to. I get three magazines and this time they are full of stories that describe what it was like in the past and being the age I am. I recall most of what they wrote about and to me it makes a good reading.
One I found of interest was about three pages on the old time outhouses, lots of detail, mostly new to me. So what I remember of our outhouse is that it was very plain. The correct size for an outhouse was three or four-square feet and seven-feet tall and no windows, heat or electricity. Ours had a glass in the door but it was painted so we couldn’t see out of it but it let a little daylight in.
