WCTC allowing windows-only visits due to regional spike in virus casese

With 12 new positive COVID-19 cases in Imperial and Grant, the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center has had to restrict visiting again.
In a letter to residents and their families, WCTC Administrator Lisa Kisinger said visits now must be conducted through windows only.
The center had begun allowing visitation outside in the yard and was poised to begin allowing visitors to come into the building.
“It is truly heartbreaking for all of us,” Kisinger said in the letter. “We knew there was a possibility of getting cases in the area, but now that possibility has become a reality.”
