Booking entertainment for the Chase County Fair can present its own set of unique challenges. Just ask Entertainment Chair Alex McNair or former chair Dan Kunnemann.
    Sometimes things occur that are completely out of the control of the fair board. This is one of those situations.
    Just as tickets for Trace Adkins were ready to go on sale online, McNair was notified Adkins had a personal scheduling conflict and would be unable to appear here Saturday, Aug. 17.
    But the situation has a happy ending. Trace Adkins is already booked for the 2020 fair and Josh Turner will headline this year’s country show.
