Sunrise Heights Happenings

Boy, do I have a story for you! It’s sort of a reenactment of one I wrote sometime ago.
That would be when one of our pair of house kittens had come up missing here in our nursing home facility. It was “Spice,” one of our sister kittens, and it was decided she some how got outside. “Spice” was gone for four days and everyone here, residents and staff, could think of all she could have experienced, such as being  hungry and thirsty. She did come back to the drive way outside the kitchen door and she was weak and dirty.
Maintenance man, Ray found her and she died. So this story is about her sister, “Sugar.” She has remained our house kitty and last Monday when it became a fact she was missing, the search was on here in at Sunrise Heights.
Sugar took naps or just hung out. She took advantage of the soft cushion of the upholstered desk chairs, especially those at the nurses station. She felt quite at home laying on the shelf about the desk.
