New speed limit signs are going up on highways around Nebraska, including Highway 6 through Wauneta, after Thursday’s implementation of LB1009, which raised speed limits on some state roads.
    Also impacted is Hwy. 61 from Benkelman to Ogallala, Hwy. 23 from Grant east to the Hwy. 23-85 juntion and Hwy. 25 from Trenton north to the 1-80 exchange at Sutherland.
