Skow, Nebraska Angus Queen, serves as Pioneer Days’ grand marshal

Reagan Skow, Nebraska Angus Queen, served as Pioneer Days’ grand marshal at the June 9 parade. This year’s Pioneer Days had several activities for all ages during the three day festival. Activities started Friday evening, June 8, with the alumni potluck and softball game at Krotter Park. After Saturday morning’s parade there were a barrage of activities along main street and at Krotter park including water games, vendor shows, car shows, a live band and much more. Sunday held Pioneer Days’ final festivities including various worship services at local churches and a potluck lunch that took place at Krotter Park. “It was a tough and stressful time for the committee, but we pulled together as a team and got it done,” said committee member Larissa Gerhartz.
