This summer’s SCORE (Science Camps Offer Rewarding Experiences) in June received a major boost with a recent $2,500 donation from Allo Communications, a Nelnet company. The funds will be used for camp expenses this summer during the week-long experience June 12-16 in and around Imperial. The camp is open to youths currently in grades 1-6. On hand Monday for the check presentation were, from left, Sheila Stromberger, treasurer of the Chase County Schools Education Foundation; Kelli Richardson, Foundation vice president; Amy Leibbrandt, Foundation secretary; Charlesa Kline, SCORE camp co-coordinator; Nick Colton, Director of Tech Support at Allo; and Allison O’Neil, Allo’s Vice President of Customer Service.
