Plans for Joggin’ for Frogmen race being finalized

Looking for a reason to dress as patriotic as possible, win some prizes and help support injured or fallen US Navy Seals’ families?
If so, register for the upcoming Joggin’ for Frogmen 5k and Tadpole Trot May 27 at Campbell Park.
All funds raised at this race will go towards the ongoing support for families of Navy Seals in times of tragedy. Joggin’ for Frogmen has raised over $700,000 nationally since 2012, all of which has gone towards the Navy Seals Foundation.
This is the fourth year Imperial has hosted a race. Kelsey Owens, Imperial race coordinator, is still looking for volunteers to assist with this year’s race.
Volunteers will help with anything and everything that needs to be done throughout the day including registrations, setup and tear down and handing out medals for runners who finish.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, different from the ones participants will receive, and the $35 registration fee will be waived.
While there are a few loose ends to tie up, the majority of the special prizes have been donated and accounted for, said Owens.
