The Palisade Village Board heard the first reading of the revised chicken ordinance at their meeting on Wednesday, May 10.
    The ordinance, with minor amendments, will continue on to the second reading at the June meeting.
    The ordinance has made it to the second reading once before. The ordinance was first passed at the March 8  meeting but then failed in its second reading on April 12.
