Lost local heroes to be honored at Memorial Day services

Monday morning, May 28, will be filled with Memorial Day services honoring lost loved ones and those who have served our country in the armed forces.
    The many lost local military heroes will be honored and remembered at Monday services. Details on area Memorial Day services are provided below.

Wauneta
    The Wauneta American Legion, Wauneta Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and auxiliary organizations will have commemorative serves at three Wauneta cemeteries.
    Monday morning will start with a military salute at Eden Cemetery, southeast of Wauneta, at 9 a.m. MT/10 a.m. CT, followed by a second military salute at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, southwest of Wauneta, at 9:30 a.m. MT/10:30 a.m. CT.
