    Seth Alberts had dinner with Leola Alberts on Sunday evening.
    Anita and Francis Fekkers and Nona and Keith Kerchal recently spent four days with Bob Stephens at Festus, Mo. This past Sunday the Fekkers were dinner guests of Becky and Gary Hunt and family.
    Guests of Michael and Kim Maris, Brittnae and Breann have been Kim’s parents, Dan and Linn Brown. They, with Leland and Sharon Maris, attended the Wauneta-Palisade One-Act play where both girls were part of the cast.
    Betty Simants drove Elsie Petsch to Hastings for eye surgery on Tuesday.
    Kelsie Skelton spent the weekend with Kirk and Cindy Sandman and their house guests, Addison, Jakin and Isaiah Neal.
    Wauneta native Sandra Maddux Conklin of Wyoming was recognized by her peers this week when she was named 2007 Nurse of The Year in advanced practice for her administrative efforts. She is a 1980 graduate of Wauneta High School.
    Kelly Kennedy visited his grandparents Don and Jackie Kennedy on Sunday morning.
    Van Kitt visited his sister Allison Sandman and family Friday night.

    Gary Polly and four friends spent the weekend with Eunice and Virgil Bodeman here for the hunting season.
    June Cox, Erma Kitt and Lola McBride attended the Dwight Egle anniversary party on Saturday.
    Dennis and Donna Gockley spent Saturday evening with Elvera Mullanix. Their Sunday afternoon visitors were Joel and Julie Gockley and Leona Gockley.
    Wauneta-Palisade High-School graduate Aimee Tubbs, is a member of the 92-93 Central College women’s basketball team. Tubbs is a 5’5 freshman guard for the Flying Dutchmen.
