    Jordyn Doetker and Brooklyn Nordhausen spent this week at Camp Comeca.
    Delpha Nordhausen visited with Elfrieda Johnston Friday and with Viola Fanning at Heritage on Sunday.    
    Thursday Frances Lewis and Connie Lewis met Megan Barnes and Berniece Lewis in Kearney for lunch.
    J. D. Grimes received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Farm and Ranch Management from Colby Community College in Colby, Kan.
    Bill and Martha Lawless attended the softball tournaments in Wauneta.

    Jodi Smith of Wauneta won the all around cowgirl title at the Nebraska High School Rodeo held in Broken Bow.
    Mable Kohne fell while painting at the Nazarene Church Saturday and broke a vertebra in her back. She was admitted to the hospital in Imperial Sunday night.
    Ruby Kennedy was a Sunday dinner guest of Marvin and Arlene Large then Arlene and Ruby were afternoon visitors of Ray and Lela Hamilton of Wauneta.

50 years ago this week
    Don and Connie Buffington attended the 18th annual  Nebraska State High School Rodeo at Harrison this week. Don was elected bulldogging director and Connie Queen Contest director of the contestant association officers.
    Susan Hoff of Wauneta received honorable mention for her hard work at the University of Nebraska’s All-State High School Course.
    Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Denker visited in the Byron Stock home on Friday evening.
