Shad and Nicole Wiese’s niece and nephew, Ashley and Chase Wiese visited on Friday.
Cassidy Rathe was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Leiauna Alberts.
Sunday Wayne and Joan Daniel celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by eating dinner in Kearney.
Wauneta’s Red Hat Ladies met at the Legion Hall on Sunday afternoon for a salad luncheon and an afternoon card game.
Rod and Joy Wheeler and granddaughter Maycee made a trip to Wyoming on Sunday and Monday. They visited Joy’s brother, Mark and Carol Knickerbocker at Wheatland and also visited Cabelas.

Cleophia Denker attended Chase Yoder’s second grade class puppet show at the school Thursday afternoon and the fourth grade Willa Cather display on Friday morning as a guest of her grandson, Beau Yoder.
Lee Anne Green, formerly of Wauneta, was named Miss Miami at the All Natural Miami University Bodybuilding Championships in Oxford, Ohio.
Lynn Keiser set a new Wauneta Gun Club record for a single math score in the .22 Rimfire Pistol course. Keiser fired a 582 out of 600 possible for 60 rounds. He finished with a 571 average for the season and also a record. May 4, 1967

Senior athlete Bill Sandman received a “Athlete-Of-The-Year” award presented him during the Quarterback Club annual banquet.
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lapp of Hamlet announce the birth of a son, Heath Lee, weight seven pounds and 12 ounces.
Paul Applegarth and son Kurt were on Maywood Trail Ride Sunday and report many horses and riders were there, but weather was bad for riding and some had to turn back.
Mrs. Kenneth Kitt and Alta Ray Smith went to Enders Wednesday to a Centennial program.
