Chadron State College junior Staci Alberts from Palisade placed first for the Eagles in the high jump at the University of South Dakota Indoor Track Meet on Saturday.

Gary and Jan DeWester visited Thursday in the homes of Wynona Springer and Everett Stamm in Benkelman.

Gunner Goings, son of Bob and Mindi Goings, celebrated his fifth birthday on Sunday. They celebrated by having pizza, cake and ice cream.

Elmer and Edna Keiser visited Leta Brunkhorst Sunday evening.

Kacie Arenz spent Saturdaynight with Ed and Jo Arenz. Ora Ruettimann joined them for Sunday dinner.

 Michael and Kim Maris are the proud parents of a baby girl, Brittnae Nichole. She weighed four pounds and five ounces.

Visitors of Dixi Travis Sunday were Kristine Nordhausen, Tami Sandman, Tammy Kaiser and Jessica Harrison. Later Ane Sandman was a visitor, also the mothers of the girls.

Beau and Chase Yoder spent Saturday night with Ken and Cleophia Denker. Kerry Denker had Sunday dinner with them.

Susan Jones and Mike Jones visited Alta Huser Sunday afternoon.

Leland DeHart has retired from Co-op Oil. DeHart has worked in the automotive service department for 11 years, joining the Co-op in 1980.
