Girl Scout leaders to be honored

Every day, Girl Scout volunteers make it possible for girls to experience skill-building, lead-taking, life-changing adventures.
To honor and thank them for their powerful and inspiring contributions, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska will celebrate Girl Scout Leader’s Day on April 22 and National Volunteer Week, April 23-29.
Sabrina Sandoval, Renae McCrumb, RanDee Littrel, Keri Rahn and Roseanna Vapenik serve as Girl Scout leaders in Wauneta. Lindsay Anderson helps each year as the troop’s “Cookie Mom.”
Spirit of Nebraska volunteers and leaders are the foundation for providing the Girl Scout experience to more than 16,000 girls. With love, patience and a fierce commitment to enriching the lives of girls, these incredible volunteers give their time and heart to mentor Girl Scouts, to inspire them, to help them discover the world around them and the spark inside them
