Adrian Molina and Maria Consepcion Quintana Gonzalez of Imperial, welcomed a baby boy, Jose Adrian Molina Quintana, Monday at Chase County Community Hospital (CCCH).
    After six hours of labor, mom delivered the hospital’s  first baby born in 2019 at 5:37 a.m.
    Jose weighed 10 lb. 6 oz. and was 22 inches long. Dr. David Younger was attending physician.
    Maria said she was very surprised how big he was, but labor and delivery were normal with no complications.
    Both parents said they didn’t realize Jose would be the first baby of the year and even more surprised to receive all the gifts.
