Enders Reservoir gearing up for Memorial Day weekend

Memorial Day weekend is always a busy one for people. It is a weekend filled with barbecues, camping and family fun all in commemoration of remembering lost loved ones who served in the armed forces.
For both locals and visitors, Enders Reservoir will be a main hub for the celebrating.
Nebraska Game and Parks Superintendent Beau Licking and his staff have been gearing up for the weekend festivities, and the summer season.
Since last year’s summer season, an archery range has been added to No Name Bay, located on the south side of the lake. The range consists of five targets which are placed at 10 yards, 20 yards, 30 yards, 40 yards and 50 yards.
Licking noted the targets were sitting at the NGPC Lincoln office not being used before being installed at the lake. National Wild Turkey Federation chapter the Western Long Beards help with the upkeep of the range.
