Beau Licking, park superintendent for Enders Lake Recreation Area, is inviting the public to participate in a fun Halloween event Friday, Oct. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 31.
Campers who would like to spend the weekend at the lake  are asked to decorate their campsites.
There will be a contest for the most imaginative campsite as well as a costume contest for adults, kids and pets, Licking said.
“Judging for all will be at 6 p.m. on the 31st,” he said.
There will also be a “Haunted Trail” from 5 to 10 p.m. on both nights, he added.
“The Haunted Trail will start behind the shower houses and is free, but all participants will require a park permit on their vehicle,” said Licking.
Resident vehicles are $6 a day and non-resident vehicles $8 a day.
All permits expire at noon the following day, he said.
Camping rates will be charged as off-season.
Electrical sites are $25 and non-electrical are $10, Licking said.
For questions, call the park office at 308-394-5118.
