Challenger Duane Dinnel unseated incumbent County Commissioner Chuck Vette in Tuesday’s District 1 Republican primary.
    Dinnel received 147 votes against 125 for Vette. The third candidate, Terry Bilka, received 79 votes.
    In the November general election, Dinnel will face Dave Teply, the only Democrat running for the office.
