Craft and Vendor Show returns to Harvest Fest with new format

Harvest Festival weekend is here at last. Things get into full swing Friday with many activities planned for the entire family. One event that will making an appearance is the craft and vendor show.
The craft fair was first hosted in 2016 by Keri Rahn, who had 12 vendors located in the Senior Center. In 2017 the craft fair was moved to the Wauneta Community Center and had a total of 18 vendors.
Rahn said, “I organized the craft fair because I believe in our small community and the people that make it a successful.”
This year the craft and vendor show will return but with a new organizer, time and location. Sabrina Sandoval will be the new face for the craft fair and vendor show. Sandoval said this year the craft fair will focus on artisanal hand-made crafts  and a couple of home-based businesses.
Vendors are coming from near and far. There are total of 27 unique vendors, but a few more could attending. Vendors are coming from as far west as Lamar and as far east as Gretna and everywhere in between.
This event was previously held on the Saturday of Harvest Festival but this year Sandoval is switching it up and moving it to Friday evening, July 27, at the Wauneta Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. MT.
