Chase County museum in Champion open for business

Each year the Chase County Museum puts on various programs featuring local community members’ collections, hobbies, pictures or stories for all to see.
This year’s first program, May 14, featured quilts made from members of both the Imperial Quilt Guild and local communities.
There were about 60 people who attended this past Sunday, said Charley Colton, president of the Chase County Historical Society.
In the past the Historical Society has brought in yarn spinners or painters to give live presentations for the public to enjoy. All programs are open to the public for free and accompanied with refreshments.
