The third annual Chase County Hospital Foundation Gala is being planned for Feb. 17.
    The theme for the event is “Casino Night.” The entertainment will be casino games with Craps, Hold’em Poker and Blackjack tables.
    Everyone who buys a ticket for the Gala will receive $500 in “funny money” to gamble with, said Deb Hrcka, assistant executive director of the Hospital Foundation. There will be chances throughout the evening to win even more, she added.
    Other fundraisers taking place at the event will be a photo booth, Bingo and a split-the-pot raffle.
    The cost of a ticket is $125 per person or $1,000 per table of eight.
    Hrcka said there will be a number of prizes given during the event that will be taking place at the new Chase County Expo Building on the fairgrounds in Imperial.
    Attendees will have a choice of prime rib or garlic butter & herb chicken for dinner. The choice of meat for the meal must be specified at the time of registration.
    A cash bar will be provided and formal attire is requested.
    Invitations have gone out to previous participants, but the public is invited to attend, as well, said Hrcka.
