Area participants bring home Champion titles, gain experience at Nebraska State Fair

The Wauneta-Palisade FFA Chapter was well represented at this year’s Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island during the 4-H/FFA livestock shows.
Senior Reagan Skow was selected Champion Senior Beef Showman and Champion Light Weight Market Steer. She has been showing in FFA for the last five years and ten years in 4-H.
Her family runs Bear Mountain Angus just west of Palisade and has shown animals all over the country. Skow and her parents, Brian and Tiffany Stoller own and raise all of the animals Skow show. Production at Bear Mountain Angus is focused on raising bulls and cows producers can buy at their annual sale.
Greg Gaston who graduated Wauneta-Palisade Schools just last year, and is currently attending Doane University took home Grand Champion Advanced Graduate Novice Obedience and State Reserve Grand Champion Level 5 Agility during the 4-H Dog Show.
