Wauneta-Palisade seniors Taylor Hiett and Greg Gaston were crowned queen and king at WP’s prom last Saturday. The evening’s theme was “Gilded,” meaning covered in gold. Prom attendees participated in a promenade on South Tecumseh followed by dinner and a dance at the Wauneta Community Building. After-prom festivities were held at the Wauneta Attendance Center.

Twenty-four athletes have reported for this season’s Wauneta-Palisade track squad.

Emily Day of Wauneta-Palisade High School has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State. Day was selected based on criteria of Auxiliary Unit 304 of Wauneta.
