She was born Sept. 2, 1938, in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Horne and Easley Stephens Horne.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park by Rev. Stephen Bailey.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Waldo “Buddy” Horne.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Majors; a sister, Ezzell Walker of Whiteville; a brother, Rudy Horne of Columbia, S.C.; as well as several Imperial and Wauneta area relatives.
