Truman Hohl - December 30, 2013
Truman Henry Hohl, age 90, passed away Dec. 30, 2013, in Abingdon, Md.
He was born to Fred and Bernice (Kitt) Hohl on Oct. 29, 1923, at McCook, Neb.
Truman graduated from Wauneta High School in 1942 and attended the University of Nebraska and was a member of the ROTC.
In August 1971, he married Betty Rowley.
After returning from serving his country he worked for the Social Security Administration in Washington D.C. and retired from there.
Truman’s wife passed away in July 2011.
Services for Truman were held Jan. 4, 2014, with military honors. He was laid to rest beside his wife at Dulaney Valley Memorial Garden in Baltimore, Md.
?He is survived by his wife’s family and his brother, Robert and wife Ruth of Wauneta; niece Karmon (Rick) Johnson of McCook, Neb.; nephews: Ronald (Joni) Hohl of Loveland, Colo., and Kenneth Hohl of Wauneta and great nephews Alex Hohl of Denver and Aaron Felker of McCook.
