Clark McMinn - August 09, 2013
Clark Erwin McMinn passed away Friday, Aug. 9 at the Community Hospital in McCook, Neb. He was 82 years old.
Clark was born in the family home in Hamlet, Neb., on Sept. 18, 1930, to Claude and Eva Boone McMinn. He grew up in Hamlet and lived most of his life there. Clark attended school at the Star country school and later in Hamlet to eighth grade.

He enjoyed spending time with family, especially the grandchildren, attending Korean veteran reunions, gardening, woodworking, traveling during retirement and seeing God’s creation. He loved to partake in a good discussion anytime. His honesty and courage and great stories will be sorely missed.
In 1949 Clark enlisted in the Army Reserves, and then was called to active service during the Korean War. He earned two purple hearts, Combat Infantry Badge and the Korean service medal with three campaign stars. Honorably discharged in 1953, he served our country proudly.
