Virginia Rhea Jesser - August 19, 2012
Virginia Rhea Jesser, age 87, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in her home at Albuquerque, N.M.
She and her twin sister, Kathryn Rae, were born to Ed and Hazel Novacek on Jan. 13, 1925.
She graduated from Wauneta High School in 1942.
Virginia loved family, laughed at traditions, spoke her mind openly and was forthright in her opinions. She did needlework and crochet as a hobby, and enjoyed reading, baking and sharing her recipes. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, David L. Jesser; daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Ken Reil; grandchildren: Jenifer and her husband, Rick Tait, Stefani and husband, Michael Michaud, Steven Reil and wife, Erin, David Jesser and Alicia Jesser; great-grandchildren: Micky and Jesse Tait, Christopher and Brendan Kuncel, Megan, Kiley and Natalie Reil, Josh and Levi Jesser, Tyler Ponte and Alivia Jesser, and extended family and friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; son David Jesser; and two sisters, Kathryn Arenz and Jeralyn Hummel Bauman.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service was held on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the French Wyoming Chapel.
Burial will take place at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
