Leo Larry Hink-Wagner turned one year old on Nov. 4, 2012. He is the son of Sheri Hink and Brad Wagner of Imperial.
Leo celebrated his special day with a cake decorated with yellow ducks, befitting his nickname, “Duckie,” which he’s had since shortly after birth.
Helping him celebrate were his parents, his nephew, Ty, aunt and uncle Davon and Russ DaMoude and cousins Joel and Makayla.
His grandparents Elaine Hink, of Imperial and Larry and Judee Wagner of Lincoln and other siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins were unable to attend the celebration but sent their well wishes, cards and gifts. |

Anna Stuckwisch turned one year old on Thursday May 10, 2012. Saturday was Anna’s big celebration day. Her Grammie and Grandpy (Paul and Mary Ok Chu Scharff) from Columbus, Neb., and Uncle Paul Scharff from Kansas City, Mo., came to celebrate her birthday.
Saturday evening, Anna’s family (Pastor Greg, Janet, Preston and Clara Stuckwisch) hosted a cook-out in honor of her first birthday. Friends able to attend were Mick and Gwen Brunkhorst, Joyce Grimm, Jim Long, Violet Long, Dennis and Sheila Pfeiffer, Elaine Roschewski, DeLores Taylor, LeeRoy and Clairene Weimer, and Pastor Wellman.
Anna really liked listening to “Happy Birthday” being sung to her, eating the icing off her little cake, and opening presents. |

Anna Jo Maris turned one year old on Oct. 23, 2011. She is the daughter of Jayden and Ashli Maris of Imperial.
She celebrated with a purple butterfly decorated cake. Helping her celebrate were her three brothers, Kobe, Braxton and Gavyn; family and friends. |

Briana Vapenik celebrated her first birthday on Oct. 5. A party using a cowgirl theme was held on Oct. 8.
