Jessica Long and Benjamin Johnson, both of Lincoln, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Annette Long of Wauneta and Bub and Joan Johnson of Lincoln. Grandparents of the couple are Violet Long of Wauneta, Patty Johnson of Oakland, and Leroy Herscheid of Beemer.
The bride-elect earned her bachelor’s degree in agribusiness from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a Farm and Ranch Underwriter for State Farm Insurance.
The prospective bridegroom plans to graduate in December with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Doane College. He is a Fire Claims Processor for State Farm Insurance.
The couple is planning an April 28, 2012, ceremony at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lincoln. |

Laddie and Anita Wilson of Olathe, Kan., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shana Daree, to Joseph Nicholas Hlas of Houston, Texas. He is the son of Harry and Gloria Hlas of Clutier, Iowa.
The bride-elect is employed as Human Resources Manager with Sutherland Lumber Company in Kansas City, Mo. The prospective groom is employed with JX Nippon Chemical Texas, Inc. in Pasadena, Texas.
Shana is the granddaughter of Burdette and Jackie Wilson and the late Everett and Louise Stamm all of Benkelman, Neb. |

Katelyn McGraw and Benjamin Grof are engaged to be married on July 14, 2012, at CreeksBend Golf Course in New Prague, Minn.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Rev. Kevin and Heidi McGraw of Hamlet, Neb. Parents of the prospective groom are Michael and Beatrice Grof of Le Center, Minn.
Katelyn is a 2010 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School in Wauneta, Neb. She is currently attending Northwestern College in Roseville, Minn., studying Early Childhood Education. Graduation is expected May of 2014.
Benjamin is a 2008 graduate of Le Center High School and is currently attending the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where he is studying Mechanical Engineering. Graduation is expected May of 2012. He is currently employed at 3M in St. Paul, Minn.

Russ and Lori Pankonin of Imperial, formerly of Wauneta, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Celeste Nicole Pankonin, to Mathew Lloyd May, son of Tim and Tammy May of Imperial.
The future bride and groom are both 2007 graduates of Chase County High School in Imperial. The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is currently attending graduate school there for Speech-Language Pathology. The prospective groom will graduate from the University in May with degrees in Business Administration and Marketing.
Grandparents are Elna Johnson of Imperial, Hulda Pankonin of Grant and Agnes Wynne and Shirley May, both of Scottsbluff.
A May 27 wedding is planned at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Lincoln. |

Jerome and Nita Frost of Omaha would like to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Andrea Frost, to Robert Fillaus III, son of Robert and Barbara Fillaus, Jr. of Lincoln, Neb.
Andrea is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Merle Fortkamp of Wauneta, Neb., and the late Chester and Fern Frost of Ralston, Neb.
Robert is the grandson of Agnes Fillaus and the late Robert Fillaus of Sioux Falls, S.D., and the late Joe and Lenora Bogenrief of Lincoln.
The bride-elect and the prospective groom both graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Andrea has a master’s degree in Accounting and is vice president of Financial Reporting and Group Treasurer at Infogroup. Robert has a degree in Finance and is employed at Red-D-Cash.
The couple plan a 1:30 p.m. wedding at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Omaha on Oct. 22, 2011. |
