Tabithia Christner and Michael Scott, both of Brookings, S.D., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Wayne and Noreen Christner of Hamlet, Dean and Jane Youngkrantz of Lake Lillian, Minn., and John Scott of Pennock, Minn.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agroecology from the University of Wyoming in 2007 and a master’s degree in animal and range sciences from South Dakota State University in 2011. She is employed by the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA NRCS) as a soil conservationist.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of BOLD High School in Olivia, Minn. He completed the diesel mechanics program at Alexandria Technical College in 2002 and the South Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2010. He is a patrol officer with the City of Brookings, an EMT for Brookings Ambulance, a mechanic for DeBeer Small Engine Repair, and a firefighter for the Brookings Fire Department.

The couple is planning an April 13, 2013, wedding ceremony and celebration in Brookings.

Tori Rae Adams and Daniel Ryan Gardner of Wauneta announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the bride-elect are Heidi Adams of Palisade and T.J. Adams of Kearney.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Karen Gardner of Wauneta and the late Rick Gardner.

Grandparents of the couple are Jerry and Tami Vrbas of Palisade, Barry and Vicy Pedersen of Trenton, Kenny and Irma Adams of Culbertson, Robert and Judy Hosick of Stockville and Russ and Pat Wood of Cambridge.

Great grandparents include Keith and Ruby Sailors of North Platte, Mary Lou Vrbas of Culbertson and the late Don Vrbas and Elaine Peterson of Palisade and the late Van Peterson.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School and is currently attending MCC and is employ-ed with Imperial Manor/Parkview Heights.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School and is currently employed with Craig Fanning.

A March 1, 2013, wedding is planned in Las Vegas. A March 16, 2013, reception will be held at the Legion Hall in Wauneta.

Jim and Annette Long of Wauneta, Neb., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Jo Long, to Logan Timothy Pearse, son of Timothy and Carmen Pearse of Kearney, Neb.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School. In 2008 she graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. She is currently employed at Aureus Nursing as a Healthcare Recruiter.

The future groom is a 2004 graduate from Kearney Catholic High School. He also graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He is currently employed at CED, an electrical distributor, and is an inside and counter salesman.

The couple currently resides in Omaha, Neb., and are planning an April 2013 wedding. The wedding will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney.

Ashley Dawn Salvador of Denver, Colo., formerly of Haxtun, Colo., and Dillon Bruce Harchelroad of Imperial, formerly of Wauneta, plan to be wed in an October cere­mony.

Parents of the couple are Charla Salvador of Haxtun, Colo., Sid and Carol Harchelroad of Imperial and Renea and Jeff Hill of Dillon, Colo.

The bride-elect is a 2006 Haxtun High School graduate and a 2010 graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colo. She is an account executive at Lamar Outdoor Advertising in Denver, Colo., and will be moving to Imperial.

The future bridegroom is a 2005 Chase County High School graduate and a 2009 graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He is a salesman at Harchelroad Motors, the fourth generation in the family car dealership business.

Wilva Harchelroad of Wauneta and Shirley Langer of Lusk, Wyo., are the groom’s grandmothers.

Parents of the bride are Barb Koetter of Kearney, Neb., and Heath Nordhausen of Wauneta. Parents of the groom are Jerry and Kalyn Ruzicka of Kansas City, Kan.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Allan and Judi Nord-hausen of Wauneta and Jerome and Eleanor Muths of Palisade. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Kenny and Kathleen Jankovitz of Culbertson and Nita Ruzicka of Grand Island, Neb.

The bride-elect is a graduate of McCook Senior High School and is employed at Phones, Etc. in McCook. The prospective groom is a graduate of Ansley Public High School and is employed at Quality Irrigation of McCook.

An Oct. 6 wedding is planned at the Keystone Business Center in McCook.
