Jessica Haack and Dustin Noble would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding on Sept. 18 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Swedehome, Neb.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Osceola Public High School and Wayne State College. She received her bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science from UNMC in 2007. She currently works as a lab supervisor at Gothenburg Family Practice in Gothenburg.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School. He is currently employed with Progressive Insurance as a claims adjuster and also owns and operates Noble Outdoors, a world record fishing website as well as an outfitting business in western Nebraska.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Anita Haack of Osceola and Steve and Nancy Noble of Wauneta. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Marvin and Betty Haack and Howard and Roberta Warner, all of York. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Phyllis Yoder of Wauneta, Wilber Yoder of Lincoln and Shirley Noble of Albion and the late Earvin Noble.

The couple will reside in Gothenburg.

Amanda Roblyer and Grant Dixon, both of Harlan, Iowa, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Dan and Marsha Roblyer of Westmoreland, Kan., and Brad Dixon of Benkelman and Mindi Dixon of Wauneta.

Amanda’s grandparents are Maxine Fisher of Lincoln, Neb., and the late Preston Fisher, Avie Roblyer of Wamego, Kan., and the late Glen Roblyer.

Grant’s grandparents include Duanne Dixon of Imperial and the late Mardelle Dixon and Karen Hartman of McCook and the late Gary Nordhausen and the late Ken Hartman.

The bride-elect is employed at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, as a Registered Nurse.

The prospective bridegroom is employed at Farm Credit Services of America in Harlan as a Financial Officer.

The couple is planning an Oct. 9 wedding at the First United Methodist Church in Harlan with a reception to follow at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium, also in Harlan.

Jessica Brown and Chase Yoder, both of Wauneta, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Jessica is the daughter of Robyn Brown of Wauneta and Ronald Brown of Seligman, Mo., and the granddaughter of George and Nettie Sell of 29 Palms, Calif., and Joyce Kenworthy of Seligman, Mo., and the late Robert Brown.

Chase is the son of Randy and Shelly Yoder of Wauneta and the grandson of Ken and Cleo Denker and Phyllis Yoder, all of Wauneta, and Will Yoder of Lincoln.

The bride-elect is employed at the Wauneta-Palisade Public Schools and the prospective groom is employed at Einspahr Construction.

The couple is planning an evening outdoor wedding at the home of the groom’s parents on Saturday, July 24 with a reception to follow at the Legion Hall in Wauneta.
