Palisade was the place to be Thursday for the second annual Christmas “Feastival,” a fun-filled day where anyone and everyone was welcome to stop in at local businesses for a sampling of food and to get tickets signed for chances to win prizes.
Patty Anderjaska with Pioneer Community Federal Credit Union (PCFCU) coordinated the event which included seven participating businesses, each of which provided door prizes including a turkey from the Village of Palisade, a $50 gift certificate for service at Bud’s Tire Repair, a gift basket from Southwest Public Power District (SWPPD), a spaghetti dinner gift basket from Pioneer Community Federal Credit Union, a $25 gift certificate from Sodtown Sundries, a $60 gift certificate from Sodtown Sundries for Wirelessnet, PCFCU, and/or Frenchman Valley Coop and an M&M-filled candy jar from Frenchman Valley Coop.
Anderjaska said she was “Looking forward to a good turnout,” and she wasn’t disappointed. Colyn Suda, Customer Service Manager at SWPPD said the “Feastival” is a “great event. We always look forward to seeing customers.”
Tonya Placzek, also with PCFCU said the event was designed to “bring the community together for the holidays and provide something different for entertainment.”
