Mother Nature added a heavy touch of glitter to the trees outside the Harry and Nola Straub home Sunday evening, adding a magical effect to the setting for the Wauneta Women of Today’s Christmas in the Country. Nola Straub has food-themed ornaments on her kitchen Christmas tree, one of many decorated trees she has on display each holiday season.
In addition to the numerous themed trees and wreaths, several miniature lighted villages were set up throughout the rooms of the Straub home. The Women of Today hosted the tour of the Straub home and a baked goods sale as a community service event and fundraiser.
