WP students entertain at "A Night of the Arts" concerts, play PDF Print E-mail

The “A Night of the Arts,” program, which showcases the talent of Wauneta-Palisade students, took place Tuesday night at the Wauneta Attendance

Center gymnasium.


Band performances included a wide variety of songs in separate performances by the 7-12 band, beginner band and advanced band. The junior high

choir, JH/senior high womens’ choir, JH/SH men’s choir and the fifth and sixth grade choir also performed. Musical directors for the evening were

Aaron and Sara Behrends and accompanists were Sara Behrends and Bev Singer.

The night was rounded out with this year’s One-Act Play, “A Canterbury Tale from the Wife of Bath.” Joy Farr directed the performance. Set design was provided by students of WP art teacher Chad Cochran.

Artwork by WP students was on display in the common’s area outside the gym.
