The Wauneta Breeze
Usually nothing is more comfortable than your old easy chair except, in this case, the new furniture at Sunrise Heights of Wauneta.Lisa Kisinger, administrator of the facility, proudly shared details of their acquisition of new lounging furniture which includes five recliners, a reclining loveseat and a complementary set of two geometric-patterned chairs with a matching loveseat.
This much-appreciated upgrade was made possible after Kisinger started in April looking for interested parties to make donations.
In true Wauneta fashion, funds started rolling in, first from the Harchelroad family who donated for Wilva Harchelroad. Another donation came from the Donna Maucher’s Memorial. Maucher was a former resident of the facility.
The donations totalled approximately $5,000. The Lazy Boy furniture, which included a warranty, was purchased at Samway Floor Covering & Furniture in McCook.
Everyone at Sunrise Heights expressed their appreciation for such generous donations.
