Dr. Daniel Mosiel of North Platte is a new visiting dermatologist at Chase County Community Hospital.
The specialist has been associated with Greater Nebraska Dermatology in North Platte for two years.
“It’s nice to do outreach in the area,” he commented. “We’ll reach people who are out of our immediate area.”
Dr. Mosiel graduated from the Orchard Public Schools and then attended Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009 and then completed a residence in dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
The most common complaints the 32-year old sees are skin cancers and rashes in adults and warts and excema in children.
Dr. Mosiel treats cysts, moles, birthmarks and acne, also.
He will visit CCCH the second Thursday of each month from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“I’ve enjoyed working with Chase County Community Hospital. It seems to have an excellent staff, and it’s worked out well so far.”
