The Plainsman Rifle and Pistol Club wrapped up its 2015 trap season with the last night on July 28. Awards were presented at the annual picnic and fun shoot on Aug. 4.
With a score of 2456.30, the team of Dave Hogsett, Don Hamm, Steve Grams, Robert Grams and Bernie Proskovec won the league title.
Finishing second were Jared Sharp, Daryl Sharp, Joel Gockley, Dennis Gockley and Kale Gockley. Their total was 2437.40.
In third place, with a total of 2433.20, were Brady Hansen, Dorey Hansen, Todd Burrell, Angela Crouse and Steve Crouse.
High overall winner was Duke Jaeger with 92.8 percent and the high percentage winner was Brady Hansen with 91.8 percent.
Five times during the season Hogsett hit 25 straight shots. Jaeger, Cliff Lake and Jared Crouse completed the feat four times. R. Grams hit 25 in a row twice and D. Gockley twice. Dirk Bauerle, S. Grams and A. Crouse each did once.
Three trap shoots are on the fall schedule.
The Rod Fuller Memorial Youth Trap Shoot will be held Oct. 4 and the Dale Lingo Memorial Trap Shoot will be Oct. 18.
A fun trap shoot to raise money for the 4-H Trap Club will be Nov. 1.
