|Museum programs kick off this weekend|

The summer Sunday season at Chase County Museum in Champion kicks off this weekend and runs through August.
The annual quilt show will be highlighted both this Sunday and May 17.
Featured quilter is Rogene Margritz of Imperial, who will hang 22 quilts.
Quilters from all over the county will also have quilts displayed. Anyone wanting to add one to the show may do so Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.

May 24—Boy Scouts with Nate Vitosh
May 31—Carolyn Lee’s doll collection
June 7—Rocking horses with Jim Brown and Pat Baney
June 14—Tom Weiss’ marble collection
June 21—Family genealogy with Kaylene Silvester
June 28—Saluting the Chase County Fair and Fair Board
July 5—Veterans of Foreign Wars with P.J. Pajerski
July 12—Chase County Road Show with auctioneer Lloyd Michael of Julesburg, Colo.
July 19—Ice cream social with entertainment by Kim Silvester
July 26—Christmas in July with Marg Berry
Aug. 2—Beer can collection
Aug. 9—Chase County Fair—no special exhibit
Aug. 16—Chase County Fair—no special exhibit
Aug. 23—Gordon Rouze’s miniature book collection
Aug. 30—Great Western Texas Trail with Marvin Large.
The museum is open from 1-4 p.m. each Sunday during the summer.
