The 2013-2014 RPAC ACT Academic Awards were announced this week. All the students who received conference awards are currently high school seniors. Academic criteria includes: Gold Medal, awarded to a student achieving a score of 29 or higher; Silver Medal awarded to a student with a score of 27 or 28 and Bronze Medal for a score of 24, 25 or 26.

The top individual ACT score was awarded to Devin Hastings, a senior at Arapahoe Schools.

The top ACT winners from Wauneta-Palisade Schools went to: Jasmyn Smith, gold medal; Hayden Pollmann and Cassidy Rathe, silver medal and Wes Anderjaska, Landon Jutten and Brooklyn Nordhausen, bronze medal. Smith is the daughter of Dolan and Charlie Smith; Pollmann, son of Steve Pollmann and Shanan Pollmann, Rathe, daughter of Ryan and Deb Rathe; Anderjaska, son of Jon and Patty Anderjaska; Jutten, son of John and Amey Jutten and Nordhausen, daughter of Nate and Wendi Nordhausen.
