Sunday evening, Dec. 22, at 10 p.m. MT Andrew Eskew, 27, of Wauneta lost control of his 1985 Ford Ranger when traveling east bound on Highway 6 west of Wauneta.
Chase County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Dukes said the slick roads were thought to be the cause of the accident.
According to Dukes, Eskew was traveling east bound on Highway 6 when he lost control of his vehicle around mile marker 39. The vehicle left the road and struck a fence in the north ditch.
Eskew was alone in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
