The Wauneta Breeze
A group of local moms has created a new entrepreneurial group in Wauneta.
Group members Jadia Russell, Amber Rowan, Amanda Pankonin and Olivia Cappel have joined together to create natural household items. They call their group Pure.
“We started Pure because we all have babies and we wanted to make things that are more healthy and safe for our kids,” explains Russell.
The group will be making and selling all sorts of natural household products including soaps, cleaners, bug spray, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dish soaps.
Their products will be packaged in glass jars–and that’s where they need the community’s help.
Pure needs donations of glass jars with lids of all sizes to put their homemade products in.
Russell said the women would prefer to recycle jars by repurposing them as containers for their products rather than purchase the jars new.
The group will put a container for donated jars at Wauneta Crossroads. They would welcome donations of any sort of glass containers with lids, but they ask for no plastic containers or jars without lids.
