School starts Thursday
Some find it surprising that summer vacation is all but over. Students, teachers and staff will start the new school year at Wauneta-Palisade Public Schools next Thursday, Aug. 15.
The school year will offer a bit of an adjustment period, however, as the first two days of school will dismiss at 1 p.m. MT/ 2 p.m. CT. After that, the hustle and bustle of the school year will continue for the next nine months.
