|W-P Schools say goodbye to the Class of 2013|

Years of hard work paid off for Wauenta-Palisade School’s 16 seniors Saturday when they received their high school diplomas, thus ending their high school careers..
The class will long be remembered for their academic, artistic and athletic abilities.
Members of the 2013 W-P class include Alondra Almanza, Logan Bischoff, John Christner, Weylin Davis, Cody Hicks, Matt Holmes, Donald Hunt, Connor Kayton, Cody Lovell, Jacob Maris, Jack McGraw, Tayler Nordhausen, Charlotte Pitts, Emma Skelton, Raven Walters and Dakota Washum.
The class’s motto was, “Take not the path that is seen, but the path that is unknown.”
The parents, teachers and others in attendance were welcomed to the graduation ceremony by Senior Class President Logan Bischoff. Other class officers include Jack McGraw, vice president and Emma Skelton, secretary/treasurer.
There was a tie for top academic honors in the class of 2013 with Tayler Nordhausen and Jack McGraw named as Valedictorians. Second highest academic honors went to Emma Skeltonas Salutatorian.
Superintendent Randy Geier served as the commencement ceremony speaker.
Class members sashayed across the stage to receive their diplomas decked out in black, white and red.
