The home team started off the day with a ten-point win over Maywood.

Cameo Rector scored 11 points to lead Wauneta-Palisade to the 23-13 win.

Ellie Lee scored seven first half points and finished with nine for the game.

Tryssta Duvel rounded out Wauneta-Palisade’s scoring with three points. Duvel made three-of-four free throws.

Maywood was led by Carol Nielsen with five points.

Dundy Co.-Stratton took on Hayes Center in the second contest of the day.

DCS ran away from the Cardinals, 36-7.

Nicole Kent made six-of-seven from the charity stripe on her way to 17 points. Madison Lambley notched nine points for DCS.

Reilly Fichtner scored four points for Hayes Center. Colby Cox added two points and Kasey Clifford one.

Hayes Center topped Maywood, 36-16, in the consolation game of the tournament.

Clifford led Hayes Center with ten points. Cox scored nine points and Kelsey Ridlen and Chessney Friehe added six and seven, respectively. Fichtner and Allyson Lawson each scored two points.

Hayes Center made eight-of-ten free throws.

Tyler Esslinger paced Maywood with 11 points.

Nielsen made three free throws and Lydia Fritsche scored two points.

Dundy Co.-Stratton continued its high-flying ways with a 41-7 win over Wauneta-Palisade in the championship game.

Kent scored 17 again for DCS. Fayelee Sanford and Aubrey Frederick each added eight points.

Wauneta-Palisade could only manage two baskets in the game. CeAnna Jahn and Kendra Carl each made one bucket. Rector made both of her free throw attempts and Lee made one-of-two tries.
