The Wauneta-Palisade Bronco volleyball team rebounded from a pair of losses to Southwest and Chase County earlier last week to pull off a four-set win at Haxtun Friday night.

Broncs take Southwest to four

Chase County

The Broncos traveled to Imperial Thursday, Sept. 15 for a matchup with the Lady Longhorns. Thursday night wasn’t what the Broncs was hoping for, dropping three straight sets, 14-25, 9-25 and 6-25. Coach Michelle Harchelroad tried to mix things up in the third set by bringing in her jayvees.

Sydnee Harchelroad was the leading varsity scorer with three points. Jonee Maris led the hitting with nine attacks. Nordhausen added a pair of ace blocks.
