Would you like to improve your grazing lands through range management and application of ecologically sound principles? Do you have an interest in the history of land management and resource conservation?

Then join the Nebraska Section - Society for Range Management in Sidney, Nebr., on Oct. 5-6, 2011.

“Understanding Past Management and What it Means Today” is the theme for the Section’s annual meeting. Speakers will address a range of topics including “The history of conservation on the American landscape”, “Results and lessons learned from the Conservation Effects Assessment Program on rangelands”, and “The use of repeat photography to document and interpret landscape change” as well as other useful and interesting topics related to rangeland management. A tour of local historical sites is planned.

The meeting will be held at the Sidney Holiday Inn. Registration forms will be available in August.
