Grant twosome win Senior 2-Man Scramble by one stroke PDF Print E-mail

Dave Engel and Calvin Dahlkoetter of Grant won the Senior 2-Man Scramble championship at the Enders Lake Golf Course Thursday, July 14 by a stroke. The Engel/Dahlkoetter team carded a 63 with the Holyoke, Colo., team of Jeff DeSelm and Bill Houtz coming in at 64. There were 13 teams at play.

Results of the tournament are as follows:

Championship Flight

1. Dave Engel and Calvin Dahlkoetter, 32-31=63; 2. Jeff DeSelm and Bill Houtz, 32-32=64; 3. Butch Loring and Max McGarr, 32-24=66.

First Flight

1. Chuck Adams and Ray Lindekugel, 36-34=70; 2-3. (tie) Terry Denker and Ken Denker, 36-37=73; Ron Sandman and Dan Haines, 37-36=73.

Second Flight

1. John Geiss and Bob Johnson, 41-42=82.
