|Jordyn Doetker to compete in Miss Southwest Nebraska Rodeo Jr. Queen Pageant|

The 2011 Miss Southwest Nebraskas Rodeo Queen and Junior Queen Pageant will be held this weekend, July 23-24, in McCook.
Competing for the Miss Southwest Nebraska Rodeo Jr. Queen title will be Jordyn Doetker of Wauneta. Jordyn, 14, is the daughter of Jed and DeAnn Doetker and attends school at Chase County Public Schools. Her interest are riding and training horses, helping her family farm/ranch. She is involved in 4-H and plans to specialize in equine in college.
Kelsey Kilpatrick, 14, of McCook is also competing for the title of Jr. Queen.
Elena Farley of North Platte is the reigning Junior Queen.
Competing for the Miss Southwest Nebraska Rodeo Queen title are Ashley Beall of Benkelman and Katelyn Sughroue of Bartley.
Morgan Yendra of Kearney is the reigning queen.
Saturday afternoon events will begin with check in time and getting acquainted events followed by the horsemanship competition which begins at 4:30 p.m. CT at the Kiplinger Arena.
Sunday events will include interviews with a sytle show and speech competition at 2 p.m. CT, followed by a live auction consisting of western and non western items.
The public is welcome to attend these events at no charge except for the auction.
