Winner of Otis “Knotty”Knotwell 3-Man Scramble determined in playoff PDF Print E-mail

Three teams ended play knotted at 67 in the Otis “Knotty” Knotwell Memorial Senior 3-Man Scramble held at the Enders Lake Golf Course. The team of Jim Knotwell, Rick Einspahr and Art Luhrs won the playoff on the second hole. Tying for second and third place was the team of Dave Engell, Craig Clough and Calvin Dahlkoetter and the team of Chuck Adams, Butch Loring and Max McGarr. The May 26 scramble, sponsored by the Wauneta American Legion, drew 15 teams.

1. Jim Knotwell, Rick Einspahr, Art Luhrs, 33-34=67; 2-3. (tie) Dave Engell, Craig Clough, Calvin Dahlkoetter, all of Grant, 31-36=67; Chuck Adams, Butch Loring, Max McGarr, Imperial, 32-35=67; 4. J. Davis, D. Auwerda, Elliott, Ogallala, 34-34=68.
